  Dear Everyone,

  Recently I had the pleasure of visiting a university library, and while
there I collected a list of companies which sell ibogaine throughout the
world. The information which follows has been combined from Chem Sources
U.S.A. 1997 Edition and Chem Sources International 1996 Edition. I have
included sources of voacangine and coronaridine because of their similarity
to ibogaine, and also because ibogaine can be made from voacangine and
coronaridine has shown some promise in the treatment of addiction in rats.
I also threw in bulk suppliers of harmaline because it has been found to
treat addiction in humans, and also to potentiate ibogaine, according to a
recent United States patent (5,591,738). I am providing this information
for researchers and treatment professionals who have expressed frustration
at the difficulty of finding sources of ibogaine, and I am assuming that
all applicable laws, red tape, etc. will be taken into account. Within this
information I found two web site addresses. I tried them, and each one had
two typos! Therefore, I fear, the information below may contain many errors.
  Many of these companies are probably unwilling to assume the liability of
having their product used directly as a medication. Sigma, for example,
sells ibogaine for rat studies, receptor studies, and for forensic labs,
but as far as I know would not provide it for human use. I called the
United States branch of Sigma some time ago only to ask about the process
they used to produce ibogaine. After being asked a lot of questions and
being treated with suspicion I was told that the information is
"proprietary". Please be tactful when contacting these companies so that
they will remain trusting and accessible.
